MOU Signed between MAN and Project PASCAL

Subject: Collaboration for the Development of Mathematics Education in Nepal

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into by and between the Mathematical Association of Nepal (MAN) and Project Pascal with the aim of promoting and advancing the study of mathematics in Nepal and fostering the development of mathematics education.

Objective: The primary objective of this collaboration is to combine the efforts of both parties to promote the study of mathematics in Nepal and to provide resources and support for the development of mathematics education.

Areas of Collaboration:

1. Engaging Communities with Math Education: Both parties agree to collaborate on projects and initiatives aimed at engaging communities with mathematics education, including workshops, seminars, and outreach programs.
2. Promotion of Mathematics Research and Professional Development: MAN, and Project Pascal will collaborate to support and encourage research in mathematics and organize professional development opportunities.
3. Participation in Mathematics Competitions: The parties will collaborate to promote the participation of Nepal students in national and international mathematics competitions and Olympiads, providing training and support to aspiring mathematicians.

Terms of Collaboration:
1. The collaboration outlined in this MOU will commence on the date of signing.
2. Any changes or amendments to this MOU must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
3. Either party may terminate this collaboration by providing written notice to the other party with three months prior notice.
